Glacier National Park Microwedding

I met Jess on Instagram in 2022.

You see, as an adult it can be really hard to make friends and Instagram has been, as long as I can remember, been like Tinder for friends. All of my best friends I met on the app.

Like many of these friends from the time of connecting through photos, hobbies and gneeral love for a wild life, to actually MEETING in person sometimes takes a while.

Adult schedules, AMIRIGHT?

Well a year or so passed and we FINALLY got to meet in person while she was climbing with some gal Pals in Moab, Utah

AND BOY CAN I TELL YOU THIS LOVELY LADIES SHINED BRIGHT

In a world where most people hide behind their social medias, only posting the highlight reel, Jess’s whole outlook online is her highlgiht reel.

Loving, deeply caring for all folx, supportive of women, queer youth, disadvantaged atheltes and easily the most vibrant person Ive ever met (and thats saying a lot)

So when she reached out for me to photograph her wedding a do her florals the only answer was

HELL YES

On a mid June day, we woke up early to drive to the east entrance of Glacier National Park for Jess and Issac to exchange private vows.

Some words are meant for only partners and taking the time to be intentional about expressing respect and care for each other, away from the ears of others, truly is special.

It was early, we all needed massive amount of caffeine for the drive (Going to the Sun Road that cuts through the park is typically closed until late June or Early July) but sprits were high and luck was on our side.

Just the day before the road up to Logan Pass had been closed but it just so happened to open 7 extra miles which allowed us to take a moment to frolick in the snow and have a Sound of Music Moment pre vows.

After our early morning a much needed nap time was in order (10/10 recommend wedding day naps) before it was time to prep for the REAL DEAL

Situated on a horse farm in Whitefish, Montana sits Highland hill farm—a darling chapel with mountain views with room for guests to stay and some of the most stunning golden hour light Ive had the pleasure of photographing in.
